The curriculum is enhanced by educational trips for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2.
They are an ideal way to ensure that every child’s learning experience extends beyond the classroom in addition to supporting different areas of the curriculum such as Art, Science, History and Religious Education.
Recent trips have included:
- Reception: Bucklebury Farm, Little Wittenham, Dinton Pastures and the Oxford Museum of Natural History
- Year 1: The Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell, Cotswold Wildlife Park and Milestones Museum, Basingstoke
- Year 2: Windsor Castle, Reading Museum, Douai Abbey, Marwell Wildlife Park and The Living Rainforest
Workshops and Seminars
Children in Nursery and Kindergarten enjoy a variety of workshops throughout the year to broaden their knowledge of the world and develop their skills in music and movements.
We have enjoyed visits from ‘Feathers and Fur’, ‘Mad Academy’ and ‘Rhubarb Theatre’. Parents are invited to join the children for some of the workshops but all parents are invited to attend seminars to learn more about the early years curriculum.
