Learning in Science is through investigative work and experiments. Pupils develop scientific skills in our two Science Labs and outdoors taking full advantage of our extensive woodland, meadows, natural pond, beehives and bird feeding stations.

From Year 6, children study biology, chemistry and physics as discrete subjects. In Years 7 and 8, in line with the Common Entrance examinations.

STEM Challenges and CREST Awards are an integral part skills-based learning in this subject and to developing an in-depth understanding of all aspects of science and how it connects to other subjects, for example Maths.
