At the start of each academic year, and indeed in-year, we welcome families who have relocated from London and further afield to join our school community.
Situated within 65 acres of beautiful South Oxfordshire countryside, we offer outstanding facilities and outdoor spaces (including our own extensive woodland, ponds and adventure playgrounds), whilst being just over an hour away from the capital. Alongside this, we are within easy reach of some of the leading senior day and boarding schools.

Travelling to OPS
Located in Goring Heath, near Reading in South Oxfordshire, we have excellent transport links to the M4 and M40, easily accessible to and from London, major airports and by rail.
- Travelling by Car: M4, Junction 12 (10 miles), M40, Junction 5 (20 miles)
- Closest Train Stations: Goring & Streatley (4 miles), Reading (10 miles), travel time to London (less than 1 hour)
- Distance to Airports: Heathrow (32 miles); Gatwick (70 miles)
- Local areas of interest: Oxford (20 miles), Windsor (30 miles)
School Bus Service: We run a school morning bus for pupils from Watlington, Shiplake and Henley-on-Thames, including a pickup point at Peppard, Monday to Friday. There is also an after school bus from the school to Watlington, Shiplake and Henley, including a drop off at Peppard Crossroads every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Alternative routes will be considered subject to demand.
We also help parents to coordinate alternative transport to London as well as via local train stations providing direct routes to London.
