Boarding is a hugely popular, enjoyable and enriching experience for children in Year 3 upwards. Children have the option of Full-time, Weekly or Flexible boarding to suit each family’s individual needs.
Full-time boarding
Boarders spend the entire term with us, visiting guardians or relatives during half-term and “Free Saturday” weekends, although the school remains open for boarders on these weekends at an additional cost of £150. At weekends, they have a busy and exciting programme of activities.
Overseas Pupils
Children from a range of countries including China, France, Hong Kong, Nigeria, Spain, Korea, Poland, Russia and other countries board full-time and may come for a term as a ‘taster’ experience before joining for a year or more.
Weekly boarding
Many of our parents take full advantage of our weekly provision particularly in preparation for boarding at senior school. Their child arrives on Monday morning, and returns home on Friday evening.
Flexi-boarding
Flexible (flexi) boarding is in demand: children can board for just a few nights each week or for the odd night here and there. Our flexi boarding weeks for specific year groups are also very popular.
