Raising money for Headway in memory of their dad, Brad, who sadly passed away from a brain injury in the summer of 2019, Ozzie and Chloe Visser have taken on the challenge of individually swimming the 21 miles of the English Channel – in swimming pools and open water – and their mum has agreed to match them mile for mile meaning that she is swimming 42 miles!
They started this epic challenge of the 13th July and aim to end by 20th August which was the date of Brad’s funeral. They have already faced some challenges along the way from high temperatures and 90% humidity, ear infections and changing from pool swimming to open water swimming. The children have remained upbeat though and have been real troopers.
