Year 6 enjoyed a fascinating trip to Roche Court on Tuesday 3rd May. They took part in a fantastic workshop and explored the grounds, discovering all sorts of sculptures. Pupils also took part in interesting discussions about which piece would be chosen for our garden, it was lovely to hear all their different opinions.
Below, one of our Year 6 pupils gave their account of the trip:
On 3rd May, we visited Roche Court. We walked around the gardens and discussed the amazing sculptures. My favourite sculpture was one called the Sky Station as we could lie on it. We learnt about the interesting techniques to make the sculptures. We saw a wide variety of weird and wonderful sculptures. Certainly a day to remember.
