Registration Fee
A non-refundable Registration Fee is payable when you submit your child’s application.
Acceptance Deposit
Once a place has been offered and accepted, an Acceptance Deposit is required to secure your child’s place at The Oratory Prep School. This deposit is refundable when your child leaves the School, provided all fees and charges have been settled.
Both the Registration Fee and Acceptance Deposit can be paid by bank transfer. Click here for our bank details.
The fees for each term are payable either on or before the first day of term.
We are pleased to offer interest-free monthly payments to our parents, who have the option to pay over 12 months of the academic year via Direct Debit. This means that the fee invoice can be paid in 12 equal instalments, with payment in full completed by August. Each term’s fees are divided equally into four monthly payments.
For more information on fees, please refer to our terms and conditions.
Childcare Vouchers and Tax-Free Childcare: The school is set up to take childcare vouchers and the Government’s tax free childcare scheme. Full details of the appropriate childcare scheme can be found on the Government website, please contact our Finance Department if you need any further assistance.
Please get in touch with us if you would like to discuss your Workplace Nursery Benefit.
For families claiming the Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA), we offer a reduced parental contribution, ensuring that you only pay the minimum required by CEA guidelines. For a full boarding place, forces families currently contribute £1,318 per child each term and £1,115 for a weekly boarding place. This covers all meals and laundry. Most after school activities are free of charge. Weekend activities for forces boarders are provided free of charge.
For those opting for day places (Reception and above), we offer a 10% discount on fees.
We offer means-tested bursaries to families through Bursary Administration Limited (BAL). You are welcome to contact our Admissions Department on 0118 976 6924 or email at admissions@oratoryprep.co.uk to learn more about the support that we provide throughout the process.
