Congratulations to our Year 8 pupils who have donated 137 Easter eggs to local food banks and charities, in support of the community around us.
During the last week of the Lent term, pupils organised the collection of Easter eggs, kindly donated by the whole school community, with pupils dropping off the donations to their three chosen charities – Wallingford Emergency Food Bank, The Hub by Q1 Foundation in Goring, and The Cowshed at Hurst.
During their visit to the Wallingford Emergency Food Bank, pupils Laurie and Freddie met one of the volunteers who commented that “the thought of the happiness the Easter eggs would bring to the children they support, gave her goose bumps.”
Thank you to our whole school community for their fantastic support.
