A Morning for Parent Wellbeing at The Oratory Prep School
At The Oratory Prep School, we believe that looking after parents’ wellbeing is just as important as caring for our pupils. When parents take time to rest, recharge and learn new skills, the whole family benefits. That’s why we are so pleased to be hosting our very first Parent Wellness Morning on Saturday 20th September.
The day will begin with a talk from our guest speaker, Katy Hill, before parents choose from a programme of seven workshops including yoga, breathwork, dance, swimming, nutrition, art and sleep. Each session has been carefully designed to offer relaxation, inspiration and practical tools for everyday life.
Some parents may choose to get moving in the pool or on the dance floor, while others might prefer a quieter morning exploring collagraph printing or learning techniques to improve sleep. Whatever the choice, the aim is the same: to give parents time and space to focus on their own health and happiness.
As a school we are proud of being a true community — the OPS family — where wellbeing matters for everyone. We want both our children and our parents to feel supported, happy and able to thrive. The Wellness Morning is just one way we bring this to life.
We are also proud that the morning will support a chosen charity, with donations gratefully received on the day.
With our beautiful 65-acre setting as the backdrop, the Wellness Morning promises to be a refreshing and restorative start to the weekend. We look forward to welcoming parents to what will be an uplifting and memorable event.
