We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Will May as the new Headmaster of The Oratory Prep School from September 2026.
Will joins the school from his current role as Head of Prep at The Marist in Sunninghill. His appointment comes after a competitive selection process where Will emerged as the outstanding candidate.
Will’s journey to headship is marked by a diverse career. After initially graduating into the world of finance, he followed his true calling into the classroom. He has held pivotal leadership roles at some of the country’s most respected schools including St Dunstan’s College, Lord Wandsworth College and Lambrook.
During his tenure at Lambrook, where he served as Head of Middle School, he led the vital “Future Schools” programme, gaining invaluable insight into senior school transition. He will continue to lead on this aspect of school life at The OPS.

Looking Ahead
To ensure an effective and smooth handover from Andrew De Silva, Will will be in attendance at various school events throughout the remainder of this academic year.
