Boarding Life & Routine

Life in the boarding house is full of energy, with a clear rhythm to the day that helps pupils feel settled and supported. After lessons, there’s plenty to get involved in – swimming, tennis, cookery, drama, coding and more – all part of the rich mix that makes boarding here so rewarding.

Evenings have a relaxed, homely feel. Pupils eat together, play games, catch up on prep and have time to unwind.

Weekends bring even more to look forward to. Saturday activities with our staff and activities on site, then Sundays with trips out for activities like ice skating, shopping, outward bound and more. With cosy common rooms, a well-stocked games room and our 25-metre pool, there’s always something to enjoy and space to take things slowly.

Pastoral Care & Well-being

Boarders are cared for by a dedicated team, including our Head of Boarding, Deputy Head of Boarding,  Matron, GAP students and a School Nurse, all of whom ensure the physical and mental well-being of each child. With 24/7 support, we strive to create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. For those feeling homesick or in need of a listening ear, our staff and an independent listener are always available.
