Boarding Options

At The Oratory Prep School boarding is an integral and enriching part of school life, offering a warm, family-oriented environment for pupils from Year 3 (age 7) upwards. Our boarding options: full, weekly and flexi, cater to every family, providing a supportive and fun experience.

Your School Family

Our boarding house is located in the heart of the school and offers comfortable accommodation for up to 50 pupils. With separate areas for boys and girls, boarders live in rooms that range from three to eight children, with opportunities to personalise their space. The house becomes a true home after school hours with the school grounds transforming into a vast playground, including 65 acres of fields, woodlands and outdoor adventure spaces.

Boarding Options

  • Full Boarding: Pupils live at school during the term, with exciting weekend activities and regular breaks to visit guardians or relatives.
  • Weekly Boarding: A popular choice for those preparing for senior school boarding, children stay Monday to Friday and return home for the weekend.
  • Flexi-Boarding: Ideal for families looking for flexible arrangements, this option allows children to board for just a few nights a week or on an ad-hoc basis.
