Year 3 children are learning about fiction and non-fiction books, developing their research skills, how books are organised in the library and finding books by specific orders and given subjects.

After hours of imaginative play, impressive focus and adorable details, the children produced these very cute fairy houses with tiny little doors, mini windows, pitched roofs and tiny gardens during our Creative Fun Club!
Our Christian Aid Cop26 fleet has grown again-lovely boats made by the children with their prayers and hopes for the future.

Our first School Council meeting of the year is in full swing. We have elected a Vice President and decided on our priorities for this term – now for action! Developing our skills in critical thinking, collaboration and teamwork are all part of being a School Councillor.
Year 8 are getting empowered on National Poetry Day! We had a whole day of writing poetry around the theme of feeling empowered and being inclusive. Many of the pupils won awards for their poems, look out around our school for their work.
Year 6 could have written the strap lines for A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Globe – here’s a taster of what they said! “You haven’t lived until you’ve seen it!” “It was like stepping into a dream.”
