Before the end of term, we were delighted to welcome Elise Downing to speak to our pupils during assembly. Elise is an author, keynote speaker and freelance writer who, in 2016, became the first woman and youngest person to run a 5,000 mile lap of the UK, self-supported. Elise is also an ambassador for The North Face.
Following her visit to OPS, Elise said,
“I had a fantastic morning visiting Oratory Prep School, sharing stories from my adventures with the children and talking about completing big challenges in general. There were some really interesting questions asked at the end, and more than we could get through in the time! An added bonus was being able to get out for a walk in the beautiful South Oxfordshire countryside afterwards before heading home – the school is in an incredible location.”
