Meet Our New Nursery Manager: Miss Megan Jones

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Miss Megan Jones as Nursery Manager at Little Oaks.

Many of our families will already know Megan well. As an established and much-valued member of our Little Oaks team, she has built strong relationships with our children and families and has become a familiar and reassuring presence within the nursery.

Megan brings a wealth of experience to the role. She is the fourth generation of early years professionals in her family and has always been passionate about supporting young children during the most important stages of their development.

After growing up in Devon, Megan completed four years of specialist training at Norland College in Bath, one of the world’s most respected institutions for early years education. She went on to work with high-profile families both in the UK and internationally, gaining valuable experience across a range of settings and cultures.

Alongside her practical experience, Megan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood. Her expertise, warmth and understanding of children’s development shine through in her daily interactions with pupils and colleagues alike.

Megan will continue to spend time in the classroom while leading the nursery, allowing her to remain closely connected to the children and families who make Little Oaks such a special place. She will also work alongside Deputy Nursery Manager, Mrs Angela Vincent, to support the continued growth and development of the nursery. Open for 50 weeks of the year, Little Oaks offers flexible childcare and early years education for local families throughout South Oxfordshire and Berkshire. Our nursery welcomes children aged 2 to 4 and provides a smooth transition into Reception at The Oratory Prep School.

Reflecting on her appointment, Megan said:

“I feel incredibly proud to become Nursery Manager at Little Oaks. It is a privilege to lead such a dedicated team and to continue working closely with the children and families who make our community so special. I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where every child feels safe, valued and excited to learn.”

Now living in Woodcote, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors and can often be found on long country walks, ideally finishing with a Sunday roast.

We are excited for this next chapter for Little Oaks and look forward to seeing our youngest children continue to flourish under Megan’s leadership.
